How membership works
- As of Sept. 1, 2026, rates have increased for all WCF (Washington) memberships.
- All subscribers/members receive Northwest Chess via periodicals mail each month unless noted.
- WA residents: join the Washington Chess Federation (WCF); all WCF memberships include the magazine.
- OR residents: Oregon Chess Federation (OCF) memberships are handled at chessmemberships.com/OCF.
- ID residents: Idaho Chess Network (ICN) memberships are handled at idahochess.net.
- Additional Family is membership only — no magazine mailing — and is open only to co-residents of an Adult, Senior, Young Adult or Junior member.
- About thirteen printed issues/year expected; NWC reserves the right to publish fewer / online-only.
WA residents add sales tax (combined rate per WA sales tax table).
